The Cereals and other Produce Regulatory Authority or its acronym " COPRA" is established under the Food Security Act CAP 249 and its Consequential Amendments through Cereals and other Produce Act no 19 0f 2009 as a semi-autonomous body of the Government under the Ministry responsible for Agriculture.
The Authority is mandated to issue crop permit for (Export and Import ) Cereals other Products.
